Peter J. Hartsock is a Los Angeles-based writer-director and the founder of Fantasma House, a genre production company deeply rooted in cult cinema and independent filmmaking.

His short films have screened at festivals worldwide. Brothers Beastly earned Best Psychological Horror Short at the Hollywood Horror Festival and screened at Boston Underground Film Festival, while Optic Nerve took home the Audience Choice Award at Sydney Underground Film Festival. His work is visually driven, atmospherically rich, and built to leave a mark.

A multi-hyphenate filmmaker, Peter directs, produces, DPs, and edits his own work, and has raised over $50,000 in state and private funding for original narrative projects. He is currently in production on music videos and developing his next short film. By day, he works in development and production on SpongeBob SquarePants at Nickelodeon.
